Our desire is to gather an outstanding group of dedicated staff who love the Lord with all their heart and have a passion to share that love with kids. Our mission is to not only impact the lives of at-risk children, but help our staff grow in their relationship with God, develop character, and become life-giving leaders.
A Mission Experience
Serving at Camp David is much like a missions trip in the rustic Ozarks, but with inner-city youth, many of whom have never heard about Jesus. We wholeheartedly believe you will find it to be life-changing as you are stretched spiritually, emotionally and physically. You will give your all to show campers the love of Christ. Being on the Camp David Team is a fun, rewarding experience that could change your life forever.

Basic Camp Schedule
Each week of volunteer service begins at 4:00 pm Sunday evening, and continues through Friday until you are dismissed at 4:00 pm. If you are from out of town, there will be provision for you to stay at camp over the weekends (for those 16 yrs and older). Special permission is needed from the camp director for any times of absence of any staff and should be limited to matters such as a death of a family member (This does not include dentist appointments, concerts, part-time jobs or other activities that a staff member wishes to leave for). See a SAMPLE SCHEDULE from a Junior Camp Week.
Prayer and Financial Support
Your goal is to donate $100 per week of service. If you do not have the funds, you can do a fundraiser at home or send out support letters to raise the money. To raise the money, send an EXCEL spreadsheet of 20 names and addresses of family and friends to our office before camp. We have provided a support letter which you need to personalize, and then our office team will mail it out.
Share Your Testimony
We need some staff members each week during camp to share their testimony (story) of God working in their life. Hearing from each other will really encourage the campers and fellow staff in trusting God more. Please begin praying about what God would have you share, and fill out the online Testimony Form before camp begins.
